2023 United States Grand Prix
While Max Verstappen romped to a comfortable victory during the Sprint Race preceding the United States Grand Prix on Saturday, it might not be a foregone conclusion that it will be the same in Sunday’s main race.
Making the task from P6 on the grid a bit more challenging for the Red Bull driver is the tyre allocation at his disposal and how the RB19 car performs on a compound of tyres at any given moment during the Grand Prix around the Circuit of the Americas (COTA).
This applies to Verstappen and the entire grid as the drivers line up for the 56-lap race. With various new and used tyres at their behest, the Grand Prix could spring several surprises.
