The Ministry of Education is advising that 11540 (90%) active, eligible teachers across Trinidad and Tobago will receive their backpay with December 2023 salaries tomorrow, Tuesday.
Payments for the remaining 10% of active teachers will continue to be processed and is estimated to be completed by December 31st, 2023.
Payments for retired teachers will be processed subsequently.
The MoE has established an email address; backpayqueries@moe.gov.tt ; to receive and respond to queries on teachers’ backpay emoluments.
