In a shocking leak of information, current and previous directors of Elon Musk’s billionaire firms, Tesla and SpaceX, have taken drugs with him on several occasions, including LSD and ecstasy, claimed a report by the Wall Street Journal.
The paper claims that there is a perceived “expectation” that the directors will take drugs alongside Musk to stay close to the billionaire.
“Several current or former directors at Tesla and SpaceX attend parties with him, travel to far-off places, and hang out at Burning Man, the Nevada arts and music festival.”
According to WSJ, Musk has been seen ingesting liquid ecstasy from a water bottle and recreationally taking ketamine via a nasal spray, which cited witnesses.
Other directors, including Antonio Gracias, Steve Jurvetson, and Kimbal Musk, were rumoured to have taken drugs with him at a recent party.
Furthermore, it claims that the directors have greatly benefited from their close personal and financial links to the billionaire businessman.
The journal emphasises that, despite being aware of Musk’s illicit drug usage and its detrimental effects, no official action has been taken to address the matter.
The Wall Street Journal article goes on to say, “In the culture Musk has created around him, some friends, including directors, feel there is an expectation to consume drugs with him because they think refraining could upset the billionaire, who has made them a lot of money.”
