Three people face charges after a Saskatoon police drug trafficking investigation that found a cache of drugs and weapons at an address in Saskatoon on Thursday.
Police said in a news release on Friday that a 45-year-old man believed to be trafficking narcotics was arrested on May 23 in the area of Township Road 362A and Valley Road. A 38-year-old woman was also arrested, and a search warrant was then executed at an address in the 100 block of Idylwyld Place.

Among the items seized in that search was 111 grams of powdered cocaine, 100 grams of methamphetamine, 62.42 grams of fentanyl, and nine grams of psilocybin as well as gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB) pills, other assorted prescription pills including hydromorphone, illegal cigarettes, cash and a 2008 GMC Acadia.
Police said in the release that “various weapons” were also seized, as well as “assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.” No further information was provided.
The man is charged with five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000, various weapons offences, and a breach of court-ordered conditions. The 38-year-old woman was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000, and various weapons offences.
Police said another woman, aged 37, was also identified as being involved and is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
