Cops have released descriptions and photos of a cabal of thugs who allegedly robbed luxury jeweller Cartier in a brazen heist at Yorkdale Shopping Centre.

The famed retail outlet was hit Tuesday night when the quartet of crooks smashed display cases and made off with an undisclosed amount of jewellery.

Officers responded to the robbery call around 8:44 p.m. — just before closing time — at the giant retail Valhalla in the Dufferin St. and Yorkdale Rd. area.
According to cops, the four male suspects were wearing masks. Three entered the store while the fourth kept a lookout near the door.

Cops say one of the thieves discharged pepper spray in the outlet while two began smashing the glass display cases with hammers. They made off with a large quantity of jewellery before fleeing the scene.
Outside the mall, the four fled in a dark-coloured sedan that appeared to be an Audi.
The suspects are described as male, tan-skinned, three with a medium build and one with a thin build.

Police have released images in the hope of getting information that could put the accused behind bars.
They are considered armed and dangerous. Do not approach and call 9-1-1 immediately.
