Speaking to TUKO. co. ke. she said:

” I love my life, and I feel blessed, and I don’t just publicize my HIV status; I want other people infected with teh virus to stop living in shame like they did something wrong. I want them to be comfortable in their skin. Yet at the same time, I urge the youth who are sexually active to please use protective measures. I make it fun, yes, but it is not easy to take ARVs daily.”

Her transparency was a powerful reminder that resilience and determination go hand in hand with vulnerability.

Her words carry weight, resonating with those who seek guidance and understanding in a world often clouded by misinformation.

” I didn’t ask to be positive, I was not promiscuous, I have my bad days like everyone else, and I keep moving. Its part of the process, but it doesn’t take away my self-confidence nor chip at my identity; HIV does not define me.”

She encouraged people to shed their fears, lean into their vulnerabilities, and create a world where judgment and stigma have no place.

In her quest to educate, uplift, and inspire, she reminded people that they are more than their circumstances and that strength lies in embracing truth with unwavering pride.

In the process, she fell in love within two months of their dating; she got pregnant and went to live with her mother-in-law.

The couple moved in together and started living together as husband and wife; little did she know that her significant other was HIV positive.

By the tie she found out, she was already infected.
