Vijay Deverakonda is gearing up for his latest venture, ‘Family Star,’ a heartwarming family-centric film where he portrays a heroic figure dedicated to safeguarding his loved ones.
During a recent interview, Vijay talked about the failure of his Bollywood debut ‘Liger’ and how it affected him when it tanked at the box office. He said that his confidence remains intact, despite failures.
Addressing the media in Hyderabad, Vijay, as reported by Ottplay, expressed, “There is no change in my attitude. I have remained the same. The only difference is I decided to refrain from talking about the results of a film upfront for at least three more movies. That’s the punishment I gave myself.”
In a recent interview with India Glitz, Vijay revealed his evolved stance on working with co-stars, emphasizing the necessity for them to possess prior experience.
“I don’t work with debutants now. At least, they need to be one film old. It’s a huge challenge to take up when you come straight on to a set. It’s a lot of pressure to handle budget, to handle scale. When they are one film old, all of us get better with every film, but your first film just gets you in the groove.
It’s like warm and ready for me because when I come, I go all out and I need them to be fully ready to exploit me and use me. So, I don’t work with debutants,” he was quoted saying.
‘Family Star,’ helmed by Parasuram Petla and co-produced by Dil Raju and Shirish, marks Vijay’s reunion with Parasuram Petla after the success of ‘Geetha Govindam.’ Vijay will be seen opposite Mrunal Thakur in the movie.
