Social media was abuzz after a video of a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ made rounds on Instagram.
Popular car spotter RTM Supercars South Africa shared the video.
ONE OF THE 900 EVER-MADE LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR SVJ SPOTTED IN SOUTH AFRICA
The video has undoubtedly gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped on the internet. Taking to Instagram, RTM Supercars South Africa posted, “SVJ ACCELERATION. Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce Jota is absolute perfection.”
RTM Supercars South Africa added, “This example is finished in Rosso Mimir body colour; it also features the super rare specially made lightweight SVJ rims that, imo, look mega. Undoubtedly, it is one of my personal favourite supercars and one of the best-looking Lambos in the country.”
Petrolheads have since given the car a nod. In the video, the car accelerated after coming from an intersection, with several people trying to record it as it sped off.
However, this is not the first Lamborghini Aventador SVJ spotted in South Africa. An SVJ hogged headlines earlier this year when a Toyota Land Cruiser in Cape Town almost rammed it.
Against the viral video, Mzansi has been trying to connect the dots about the car’s price tag. Currently, there are a few Lamborghini Aventador SVJs listed. However, the car has a base price tag of R10 million in several dealerships worldwide.
WHY IS IT SPECIAL?
Only 900 units made it to the market. It is considered one of the fastest cars. According to reports, the car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and reach 200 km/h in 8.6 seconds. It also boasts a 6.5-litre L539 V12 engine.
