Who is Chris Ramsey?

Funnyman Chris Ramsey is originally from South Shields and was born on August 3, 1986.

He made his way into the public eye in 2010 when he put on his first solo stand-up show Agoraphobic.

In 2011, he took his second stand-up show Offermation to The Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it was nominated for a Fosters’ Comedy Award – previously the Perrier.

The show was so successful that he took it on the road for a sell-out tour in 2012.

Over the years he has built up an impressive net worth of around £1M.

Much of his earnings come from his work in comedy, such as tours, and TV appearances.

What is Chris Ramsey known for?

Chris became well known for appearing in the comedy sitcom Hebburn.

The six part series, written by Jason Cook and Graham Duff, follows the recently wedded couple Jack and Sarah alongside Jack’s family.

Ramsey played the role of Jack Pearson, the son who starts things and never finishes them.

He played the role from 2012 until 2013.

What TV shows has Chris Ramsey been on?

Chris has appeared on a number of comedy panel shows including Mock The Week, 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Celebrity Juice.

He took part in Channel 4 series Time Crashers where he tried out different jobs throughout history.

Chris was also paired with Karen Clifton for the tenth series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The pair  reached the semi-final and finished in fourth place.

Chris hosted I’m A Celebrity spin-off Extra Camp alongside the likes of Vicky Pattison, Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon in 2016.

In March 2020, it was announced that Ramsey would be presenting the talent competition series Little Mix: The Search, which aired September the same year.

Chris is also known for taking part in Taskmaster.

The popular presenter is also part of the Children In Need hosting team.

Ramsey is married to wife Rosie Ramsey, who is a famous British actor, presenter and radio producer.

She co-hosted the drive-time show on Capital Radio in the North East.

The star has appeared in Married To A Celebrity: A Survival Guide, and Parenting For Idiots.

She is best known for her hilarious antics on social media, an d you can follow her on her popular Instagram handle, @rosemarinoramsey.

The pair got married on July 25, 2014, and have two sons, Robin and Rafe.

Chris and Rosie not only are married, they also work together too.

The couple have their own Netflix series, The Chris And Rosie Ramsey Show.
