Windsor Police are seeking the public’s assistance in their investigation into a “suspicious” fire that occurred at a downtown residence Friday evening.
Firefighters were called to extinguish the blaze at a home in the 800 block of Brant Street at approximately 7:30 p.m..

Fire officials said there were no injuries, but one individual was displaced. They estimated damages at $150,000 but the cause of the fire was undetermined.
The Windsor Police Service Arson Unit has taken charge of the investigation and is actively seeking information.
Residents in the vicinity are encouraged to review their surveillance systems of dash cam footage for any potential evidence relating to the incident.
