Wolmer’s Boys’ took a 1-0 lead in their best of three semi- final series in the ISSA urban area Under-19 basketball competition after a 49-46 win over Kingston College on Wednesday at Mico University College.
Joel Ricketts scored more than half of Wolmer’s Boys’ points, notching a game-high 29 to lead the team. He got good support from Jelani Barnaby who scored 15.
Mordecai Clarke netted 17 points for KC in the game which went right down to the wire. Game 2 will be played on Friday at Kingston College.
