A woman is wanted by the police after threats were allegedly made against staff last month at a North York financial institution.

Toronto Police said that officers responded to a call on Sept. 12 at about 2:45 p.m. in the Bathurst St.-Steeles Ave. W. area after a person entered a financial institution and gave a note to staff. The person began causing a disturbance and allegedly activated a Taser.

“Prior to leaving, the suspect made a threat,” Const. Laurie McCann said in a news release, adding that no injuries were reported.
The suspect was described as a female between 20 and 30 years old, standing 5-foot with a medium build and dark curly hair in a ponytail. She was wearing a white T-shirt, long black shorts, black and white Nike shoes, a white Blue Jays hat and a black backpack.
