Owner Mairead O’ Hagan Anderson took to social media to confirm the sad news, much to the disappointment of locals.
The post, which has garnered over 120,000 views, has gathered people pleading to help from across the country.
Mairead said: “We just got word yesterday that we are not allowed to trade where we sit from the 22nd of May onwards because of the regeneration of Killybegs.
“I don’t have anywhere else to go a the moment, the traders car park is just too far away from where I store extra stock and from where we have our staff toilets.”
The fan favourite sea food shack was forced to close by the County Council – who cited overcrowding and a new bus stop being located in the area.
And devastated Mairead has revealed how the short notice relocation has hugely impacted her business.
She said: “Had I been given a bit more notice I could have gotten my own property sorted on the main street to pitch the shack but for now its currently not suitable.”
Due to the relocation and now awaiting more orders by the local council, the Killybegs sea food shack is now being forced to close its doors to the public.

Speaking on the decision to add a new bus stop in the area while the eatery is being pushed out, Mairead shared her frustration online.
She said: “I hate to break it to everyone walking on the footpaths but there will be people queuing to get on a bus which you will have to stop back for as well.”

“Just say excuse me and step back, no one is seeing the bigger picture at all about the shack, again, in my opinion”, she added.
Mairead said that she was trying to create a place so people would stop into the popular seaside town.
She said: “I’m all about tourism. Just who I am. I really tried hard to lease something in the town, knocked on a few doors, buildings just not available.
Heartbroken fans have taken to social media to share their disappointment with the news.
One user commented : “This is a disgrace. Surely someone could help challenge this decision or at least give you more notice.
“I know personally the only reason we go to Killybegs is because of your sea food shack.”
One cried: “Would they prefer empty streets and a ghost town?”
Another user commented : “Force the closure of a thriving, sustainable, local business because of a bus stop? is there a petition?”
