This event is going to provide opportunities for hundreds of youth to connect with professionals and learn about careers while participating in fun competitions while building and creating. Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN-WI (1888PressRelease) February 02, 2024 – Young Builders and Designers is pleased to announce Young Builders and Designers Convention 2024.
YBD is an organization serving local youth and nurturing the future of STEAM in the Twin Cities. We will be hosting our Annual Convention to make an impact on young people by introducing them to the design/build trades in a groundbreaking 1-day convention in the Twin Cities. We are bringing together Builders, Architects, Engineers, Designers and Creators to share their talents with youth. We are looking for professionals who are interested in sharing their knowledge and expertise with young people at this fabulous event!
Hands on activities include building with LEGO®, designing on paper, challenges, and inclusion in our quarterly Housing Design Competition. Youth will have the opportunity to see the design/build world first-hand through your involvement!

Sponsorship Opportunities: We will be hosting 12 tables for companies throughout the Twin Cities with a variety of design/build trades represented. There will be opportunities to speak, lead workshops and present your business expertise to event attendees. This is an opportunity to transform the understanding of the design/build trades to our youth and give them a chance to see firsthand, people who help build and strengthen our communities through the design/build trades.
