Tony Sperandeo and Noam Waksman wrote the music in 1987 to the words of Isaiah 61:1-3 in the song entitled Ruach Adonai Alai – The Spirit of the Lord is Upon Me.
Sperandeo lead the group of believers that gathered in Sderot and sang Ruach Adonai Alai. This video was released on YouTube on March 7, 2024 under the title Isaiah 61 PRAYER SONG to Set The Captives Free. However, earlier today, YouTube partially blocked the video for most users in the US and Canada claiming “copyright violations.”

ALL ISRAEL NEWS has a signed Music License Agreement with Sperandeo and Waksman to distribute the song Ruach Adonai Alai as part of the campaign #SetTheCaptivesFree #Isaiah61. Therefore, there is absolutely no reason for YouTube to partially block the video. Perhaps there is a deeper reason why YouTube wants to limit the audience for this prayer song video?
I disputed YouTube’s claim of copyright violations and receive a message that the review process could take up to 30 days.
