Notorious bandits have reportedly killed no fewer than three persons and also kidnapped over 120 others in Goran Namaye community in Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
One of the locals, Abubakar Muhammad, claimed that the terrorists broke into the town on Thursday at 1:17 in the morning and proceeded to attack one home after another.
He added that the majority of the people abducted were men and women, and that three people were also slain by the terrorists while conducting their operation.

“The whereabouts of many members of the community could not be traced, and it is very clear that we lost three of our men to the tragic operation.
“They took us unaware as the whole people were running helter-skelter without direction, and they started house-to-house operations and chased our people, mainly women, into the forest.”
