Council impounded cats and dogs across the region in Links were created to allow reporting of assets based on Council's business units which meant Council was in a position of greater assurance of data integrity going forward. The project took longer than expected due to extended periods of wet weather and associated flooding during the summer months.
The project was a result of a partnership agreement with Council as part of its commitment to the Tigalee Creek Project that is designed to reduce flooding within the Kin Kora and Sun Valley areas of Gladstone.
