China rocket startup LandSpace announced its new version of Zhuque-3 stainless steel reusable rocket. Landspace is set to attempt its first launch on the methalox Zhuque-2 in the near future from Jiuquan spaceport.

They have had three launch attempts of any rocket and one successful launch ever. Zhuque-2 (ZQ-2) is a medium-sized liquid-fuelled rocket powered by liquid oxygen and methane capable of lifting 6,000 kg (13,000 lb) of payload into a 200 km (120 mi) LEO, or 4,000 kg (8,800 lb) of payload into a 500 km (310 mi) Sun-synchronous orbit (SSO) The rocket was initially planned to be launched in 2020, however by 2019 this had slipped to 2021, and later to December 2022. On 12 July 2023, Zhuque-2 became the first methane-fueled launch vehicle to reach orbit after a successful second flight. The ZQ-2 has less than one-third of the payload of a SpaceX Falcon 9.

LandSpace is targeting a first launch attempt for the Zhuque-3 stainless steel reusable rocket at the end of 2024.
