The DJI Mini 4K camera drone is a great buy at the best of times, but at $60 off for the standard model and $90 off for the Fly More Combo package, this is a brilliant Prime Day drone deal. DJI is one of the world’s best-known drone-makers and they’ve knocked it out of the park with the 4K.
The standard bundle comes with the drone and remote but the Fly More Combo package includes a carry case and two extra batteries for a total of three, giving you up to 93 minutes of flight time. We awarded this drone five stars in our DJI Mini 4K review, calling it “easily one of, if not the best sub-250 g drones available at this price point.” And now it’s up to $90 off, there’s no excuse to snap this portable gem up.
Aside from its impressively low 249g weight, the DJI Mini 4K is a superb all-rounder, easy to fly and, if you clip in your phone, you can watch its live feed as you fly. It can happily handle wind resistance of up to 21 mph and while it doesn’t boast obstacle avoidance, it does have downward sensors so it should land safely.
Its auto and manual camera controls mean you either snap and forget or tweak its settings to your heart’s content. You’ll get 21 minutes of flight per battery, but with the DJI Mini 4K Fly More Combo bundle, you can switch out the additional batteries for up to 93 minutes of flight time.
Or if this isn’t for you and you’re looking for a more powerful drone, the 3-camera DJI Mavic 3 Pro is worth investigating.
