Indian Space Startup Skyroot Raised $27.5 Million

India’s Skyroot Aerospace raised $27.5 million from Singapore’s Temasek in October.

Indian startup Agnikul Cosmos raised a similar amount.

Skyroot launched India’s first private rocket in 2022 and will launch the Vikram-I rocket in 2024. The launch vehicle can take payloads of upto 300 kilograms into low earth orbit.

They are developing rockets for small satellite launches and have designs for up to 815 kilogram payload.
