Black Friday is almost here, hitting retail stores this Friday, Nov. 24. But you can start enjoying early Black Friday deals already, and they’re actually good this year. Retailers like Target, Best Buy, and Walmart have been releasing Black Friday deals already, and Amazon started their Black Friday promotions a few days ago (and they’ll run until Nov. 24). But if you’re looking for a great deal on a smartwatch right now, look no further than the Google Pixel Watch.
The Google Pixel Watch is 50% off for Amazon’s Black Friday sale
Google’s first smartwatch came two years after they acquired Fitbit, and it came in the form of the Google Pixel Watch in 2022. The smartwatch comes in one size, 41mm, in a variety of colors, and in your choice of LTE or wifi. The main difference is that the LTE model comes with an eSIM that connects to your mobile provider, allowing you to make and receive calls independently of your phone. Google’s first smartwatch comes with 32GB of storage, has a microphone, a speaker, and many fitness tracking features powered by Fitbit. This watch comes with a single physical button, the ability to keep the screen always on, customizable watch faces, interchangeable strap bands, 5ATM water protection, and Bluetooth connectivity. You can expect up to 24 hours of battery time after a full one-hour and 20-minute charge time. It has a “find my phone feature” if you misplace your cellphone, and it has voice compatibility with Google Assistant. You can read the full “excellent” review from PCMag here.
If you want to be able to take calls with your Google Pixel Watch, get the LET version, currently 50% off at $199.99 (originally $399.99), the lowest price it has ever reached, according to Camelcamelcamel’s price history. If you don’t care about this feature, you can get the wifi version, although they’re the same price, and the LTE version will always have a higher resell value.
