Captured in a Reddit post, Dana White stood against the idea that Musk vs Zuckerberg was a gimmick fight. Rather, he suggested that boxing bouts between MMA fighters and boxers, where the former are bound to lose are gimmicks.
“This isn’t a gimmick fight. Gimmick is MMA guys going to Boxing and getting beat. We have seen it already and know how it ends. This is a fight between 2 of the most powerful/ richest guys in the world.”

Interestingly, the biggest MMA vs boxing fight in a boxing ring was Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather. Further, White played a pivotal role in making the bout happen. However, it seems like the 53-year-old might have intentionally or unintentionally given away about the grand fight being just a gimmick.
