The First Descendant is a third-person looter shooter that gives you the opportunity to choose from a myriad of different characters. However, to be able to use one character rather than another, you will first have to meet all the requirements to be able to unlock it. Some of them will be easier, while others will be more difficult, but don’t worry: here you will find all the necessary information.
Before providing you with the complete list of all the characters that you will be able to unlock during your adventure in The First Descendant, it is important to underline that at the beginning of the game, you will only be able to choose between three of them, namely: Ajax, Lepic, and Viessa. As you continue, you will be able to unlock all the characters (including the two not chosen at the beginning).

To unlock The First Descendant characters, you have two methods. The first is to collect the resources necessary to start a research mission; while the second is to be able to purchase them from the in-game shop. The second method is certainly the fastest, but it requires you to use money. The first one, however, despite being longer, is completely free.
