Americans Abroad Weekend Rewind: Carter-Vickers, Pulisic, and more
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Scottish side Celtic fell down in Sunday’s trip to St. Johnstone, but the SPFL leaders eventually rallied back to keep their domestic unbeaten start alive.

Cameron Carter-Vickers played his latest 90 minutes as Celtic fought back to claim a 3-1 road win. The U.S. men’s national team defender has remained a rock in Brendan Rodgers’ backline this season and that trend continued with another solid performance on Sunday. Carter-Vickers has featured in nine SPFL matches this season, leading Celtic to a 7-2-0 record over that span. With the defending champions sitting eight points clear of rivals Rangers, Carter-Vickers and his teammates will seek a strong ending to their 2023 schedule this month.

In England, Chris Richards impressed for Crystal Palace. Luca Koleosho scored his first English Premier League goal.

In Italy, Christian Pulisic scored his fifth goal of the season. Yunus Musah played 90 minutes for AC Milan.
