Joshua has already fought twice this year, with his third bout in 2023 ensuring that this is the most active he has been in seven years.
The 34-year-old was last in action in August when he knocked out Robert Helenius in the seventh round and is looking for another statement victory ahead of career-defining fights in 2024.
Joshua beat Wallin twice as an amateur, but their reunion will be a different proposition as a professional.
The Swede’s only defeat in 27 fights came as he lost on points to Tyson Fury in 2019, but the Gypsy King required 47 stitches and plastic surgery following the damage caused by ‘All In’.

Joshua vs Wallin: What has been said?
Joshua: “People who are talking about ‘I peaked’ have never seen a peak.
“My first stop to getting to be three-time champion is putting in a demolishing against [Otto].
“I’m fully focused on this fight, I’m determined to win, and I’m determined to get back to my peak, if that’s what they want to call it.”
Wallin: “There’s no secret he can get beat.
“I think that now more than before his mind is in a bad spot. He has too much pressure on his shoulders and he’s feeling it.
“That’s hard for him. He’s not the champion and that brings him down. It shows with all his different trainers.”
