Arsenal fans were having the time of their lives as they cruised into the Champions League last-16 with a 6-0 win over Lens.
The Gunners supporters could even be heard chanting ‘are you Tottenham in disguise?’ as they dismantled the French side in emphatic fashion.

Arsenal were in glittering form as they thumped Lens to send them through in top spot
Not only did Mikel Arteta’s side secure their passageway into the knockout rounds, they also earned top spot in Group B with a four-point buffer on PSV Eindhoven with a game to spare.
Arsenal clearly meant business as they named a strong side at the Emirates Stadium and they put the clash to bed by going 4-0 up inside just 27 first-half minutes.
It was Kai Havertz who opened the scoring with his second in two games to give the Gunners an early lead, following up on his crucial winning goal against Brentford at the weekend that seems to have kickstarted his Arsenal career.
Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka both added to Arsenal’s advantage, before Gabriel Martinelli made it four with a sublime solo effort.
Picking up the ball down the left flank, Martinelli weaved and jinked his way around the Lens defence before curling the ball home to make it 4-0 and put the Gunners firmly in control.
Martin Odegaard then made it five just before half-time with a thumping volley after a neat counter-attacking move involving Saka and Takehiro Tomiyasu.
Arsenal nearly made it six through Odegaard midway through the second half, however Jorginho did just that from the penalty spot just four minutes from time.
Given their dominance, Arteta decided to ring the changes in order to give his star men valuable rest ahead of a hectic run of Premier League fixtures going into December.

The Gunners are in the last 16 of the Champions League with a game to spare
Thankfully for the north London side, they won’t have to worry about the Champions League for a little while, with top spot now wrapped up in emphatic style with a game to spare.
