Asian Games 2023 Live Updates, Day 5: The Sunil Chhetri-led Indian football team, ranked 102nd in the world, has put up a great show against Saudi Arabia, ranked 57, in a round of 16 match. The score-line is 0-0 at half-time. Rohan Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosale have entered the mixed doubles semi-finals and are assured of a medal. Earlier, Ramkumar Ramanathan/Saketh Myneni have assured India of at least a silver medal in men’s double tennis by entering the final while Anush Agarwalla won India’s first medal in individual dressage event at Asian Games. Thursday began on a great note for India with shooters Sarabjot Singh, Arjun Singh Cheema and Shiva Narwal winning the country’s sixth gold medal of the Asian Games 2023 after finishing at the top of Men’s 10m Air Pistol Team event. Earlier, Wushu star Roshibina Devi won a silver medal in the Women’s 60 kg final. In Squash, the men’s and women’s teams entered the semi-finals to be assured of a medal each.
