Last month, we covered MLB super agent Scott Boras, who plays the long game in free agency but usually lands his clients huge deals.
This offseason, though … not so much.
Three of his star clients — Matt Chapman (3/$54M), Cody Bellinger (3/$80M) and now Blake Snell (2/$62M) — signed for less than expected.
Chapman and Bellinger were projected for $103M and $112M deals, respectively, while Snell reportedly turned down $150M from the Yankees
That’s as much as $169M in lost cash.
His fourth big-money free agent, Jordan Montgomery, hasn’t even signed yet.
