Bellator continues its world tour with a stop in Dublin, Ireland. The main event of Bellator’s latest Championship Series show features Jason Jackson defending the Bellator welterweight title against Ramazan Kuramagomedov.
Jackson (18-4) is a former Titan FC and LFA welterweight champion. Appearing on Dana White’s Contender Series, he has shown his value in Bellator, going 8-1 in Bellator-related fights. The 33-year-old beat Yaroslav Amosov in November to win the Bellator welterweight title.
Kuramagomedov (12-0) is 2-0 in the Bellator cage. The Russian has six wins via submission. It is a big step up for the 27-year-old, and he is ready for the fight of his life.

“I believe Jason Jackson is the hardest fight in my MMA career thus far,” he said via Sherdog. “This is a very exciting fight coming up. Jason is one of the top fighters in the world. Every fighter has their shortcomings, so I am going to have to find the key with Jason this time. There are several ways to approach this, but I will showcase the best approach the night of the show.”
The event also features former Cage Warriors featherweight champion Paul Hughes, Khasan Magomedsharipov, and Sinead Kavanagh.
