A bet on the Jacksonville State Dolphins in Week 12 is strictly a fade of the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs defense.
Louisiana Tech comes into Saturday with a five-game losing streak in which it conceded over 30 points on four occasions.
The Bulldogs’ last two performances were their worst of the season, as they allowed 56 points to the Liberty Flames and gave up 42 points to the Sam Houston Bearkats.
Saturday also marks the end of the Louisiana Tech season. It has no hope of reaching a bowl at 3-8 so motivation could be hard to come by in a road game.
Jacksonville State is 5-1 with a +35 point differential in Conference USA play. The Gamecocks’ only league loss came against Liberty and they put up over 30 points in four of their seven overall victories.
Rich Rodriguez’s side could torch the La. Tech defense to pick up its eighth victory in its first FBS season.
