Rumble in the professional scene and in solo queue has always been a fun pick in League of Legends. Rumble is a difficult champion to get right, sometimes he is too strong and can even be played in the jungle, as we saw in 2021, or he is very underwhelming. He is dependent on the state of the items in League of Legends. Right now Rumble is in a fine state, so the question is, how do you stop him? Follow this article for the three best Rumble counters in League of Legends.
Tryndamere
Tryndamere is a nightmare for most matchups, and Rumble is no different in League of Legends. Rumble can do a lot of damage, and negate the healing of Tryndamere, but what Rumble cannot counter is the ultimate from Tryndamere. When he presses R, he becomes unstoppable and can’t die during that period. All he has to do is wait out Rumble’s ultimate and he won’t stand a chance even if it is somewhat of a ranged vs melee matchup.
Camille
Camille is a great champion into Rumble in League of Legends. This matchup takes a lot of patience from Camille as he will be difficult to deal with early on. Rumble is really squishy early on, so try to look for an early kill with you E. You do a surprising amount of burst damage in the first few levels, and you can use your W to heal off of him as he has to be close to you to do damage.
Sett
Sett is a lane bully, and his match-up against Rumble is no different. As long as Rumble is not close to overheating, you can go in for as many trades as you like. Once Setts bar reaches full, use W on him, he is very squishy and you will be able to chunk him out of the late. When you have your ultimate, you can use it to push both of you away if Rumble uses his ultimate, from there, he has nothing left to offer and you will be able to chase him down. During the early stages, if he looks to walk up to the minions, or to you, use your E, this will pull him back in and you will be able to use your W as great poke.
