Andoni Iraola is still seeking his first Premier League victory, with Bournemouth one of only two sides without a win this season.
The south-coast side are languishing second-from-bottom, with the Clarets only one point and one place above them ahead of this clash.
Bournemouth are winless in their last 13 Premier League games, and Vincent Kompany will be buoyed by his team’s record over them.
Burnley have won their last three Premier League away games against Bournemouth and would move out of the danger zone by edging this six-pointer.

Asked if he was concerned about his future, Iraola said: “I’m not. Nobody should be concerned about it all.
“I’m concerned about AFC Bournemouth winning games and I’m sure that supporters, they shouldn’t care about me. They care about their team winning games. It’s like this and it has to be like this.”
Quizzed on if he was worried by the club’s form, Iraola continued: “Especially whenever you are in the relegation spots. We have to be worried. I’m the first one to be worried. Now it’s a matter of finding ways to win.
“I think we prepared very well for this game. We were working with not all the players, but I think we had the plan more or less quite clear. But it’s not enough with the things we are doing.”
