“Bring Ya Ass” is a three-word phrase that will forever live in Minnesota Timberwolves lore. It came when TNT’s Charles Barkley was interviewing Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards after their massive game seven comeback win against the Denver Nuggets.
Barkley had asked Edwards for some restaurant recommendations since he hadn’t been to Minneapolis in 20 years. That part from Barkley was exaggerated but it brought out the hilarious line from Edwards which came off the cuff.
Barkley made it to Minnesota and put out a simple five-word video on Instagram.
“Bring yo ass. We here”

Now, Barkley doesn’t get the verbiage right, but he’s right. They are in Minneapolis and game one is about to tip off.
