Seven men, who were dressed in black, all stood up in front of the press area and appeared to be reading from a booklet.

But things got even weirder when they started brushing their teeth in the middle of the match.

As it turns out, the individuals in question haven’t lost the plot, but were instead ‘spies’ who were promoting an upcoming film project.

Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly is involved in a production company which helped create the upcoming film ‘Argylle’.

The film is about a reclusive author who is inadvertently recruited as a spy in a plot with a stark similarity to her latest book.

The blockbuster features stars including Henry Cavill, Dua Lipa, Bryan Cranston, John Cena and Samuel L Jackson.

Meanwhile, manager Mauricio Pochettino was spotted with an ‘Argylle’ logo on his jacket.

Some Chelsea fans were left raging due to the timing of Boehly’s publicity stunt, which came while play was underway in the Premier League clash with Fulham.
