Deion Sanders turned Colorado into a college football hub in his first season with the Buffaloes, but it hasn’t all been smooth sailing. Colorado lost seven of its last eight games, and the program has struggled to hold onto a few recruits from the upcoming 2024 class.
While the early signing period may not be a make-or-break moment for Sanders, considering he utilizes the transfer portal so frequently, the day is an opportunity for Coach Prime to reinfuse the Buffaloes with young talent and prove he can build something sustainable in Boulder.
Sanders had landed one blue-chip prospect in interior offensive lineman Jordan Seaton, who ranks as one of the best offensive line prospects in the class of 2024. Fixing what was a porous Colorado offensive line will take time, and no true freshman is expected to come in and make that kind of impact from day one if he is to finalize the deal with the Buffs.
