Dillon Danis has made quite the name for himself in the MMA committee. Sadly, not for all the right reasons. Danis has been under the public spotlight thanks to Conor McGregor as he helped Conor McGregor prepare for his fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov. However, recently Dillon Danis gained notoriety in the combat sports world after beefing with Logan Paul.

Danis had one of the nastiest beef with YouTuber Logan Paul ahead of their boxing match. The whole lead-up to the fight till the end of the fight was quite a circus, to say the least. There were lawsuit charges pressed on Danis by Paul’s fiancé as she became a prime focus for Danis to throw jabs at Paul before the fight. Though it was quite a mess, the event was reported to sell quite a number of PPVs. Danis’ unconventional way of selling PPV fights had people assuming that he would likely join the UFC soon. But UFC CEO Dana White believes otherwise.

On a recent episode of the ‘FULL SEND PODCAST’, Dana White talked about the rumors of UFC looking to sign Dillon Danis. He started off by stating, “I saw it on Instagram, maybe he was going to box with somebody. I don’t know. Do you think he should be? I heard he just retired.”
Dana White admitted to not having any sort of relationship with Danis. He stated, “Here’s the other thing with him is and I have no beef with the kid at all. I’ve never, I’ve probably said two words to him my whole life.”

White concluded by giving the reason why the UFC isn’t looking to sign Danis by stating, “Every time he’s around sh*t’s going down. We can’t have that stuff going on around here. A lot of people will like, when guys get into it on stage or something starts to happen, they’re like oh they must love this or whatever. We don’t need that sh*t to sell fights. The athletic commission gets crazy and people start to get fined and you know, they come after us. It’s our job to keep that sh*t under control. That’s why you see these other events where these guys and everything breaks out like that… total unprofessional clown show.”
Though the fans were expecting to see Danis under the UFC banner, after what the UFC CEO explained, it seems very unlikely. It makes sense, as one of the worst incidents occurred during the Khabib and McGregor fight in 2018. And Danis, despite not being in the UFC, was in the centre of it all.

Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov was probably the most hyped grudge match in the UFC. It’s no secret that the two fighters hate each other. The fight ended with Nurmagomedov choking McGregor out. However, that wasn’t really the end of the event.
Another fight ensued after Nurmagomedov jumped the cage and attacked Dillon Danis who was McGregor’s grappling coach at the time. It was reported that Danis was talking trash to Nurmagomedov the entire time, which is why Khabib took no time to attack Danis after the fight ended. This led to an entire onslaught of problems after the event.
