Dak Prescott apparently isn’t the only member of his family taking heat for the Dallas Cowboys’ loss to the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Wild Card Game.
Tad Prescott, Dak’s brother, posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, criticizing Cowboys fans for sending him direct messages and said he would get the quarterback out of Dallas if he could because he wants to be “done with drama” brought on by the fans.

Cowboy fans why continue to DM me TRUST ME, if I could get @dak to leave Dallas I would. I too want him out of Dallas. The city and organization have been great to he and our family, but done with drama and the so called fans, but he loves this team, and wants to bring it rings
The knives came out for Prescott in the aftermath of another disappointing playoff loss. Noted Cowboys apologist Skip Bayless even threw in the towel following the 48-32 defeat against the Packers.

GET RID OF DAK PRESCOTT. ENOUGH OF THE SUFFERING. HE WAS A 4TH-ROUNDER FOR A REASON. I THREW HIS JERSEY AWAY FOR A REASON. HE’S NOW 2-5 IN THE PLAYOFFS. BIG-MOMENT LOSER. NOT A DALLAS COWBOY QUARTERBACK.
Dak has admitted he’s seen a lot of the criticism around him and feels like it’s “getting old,” but understands it’s “not going to stop” no matter what.
There is a world in which Tad could try to talk Dak out of staying in Dallas. The three-time Pro Bowler only has one year remaining on his current contract, which includes a no-tag clause.
If Dak decides things aren’t working out with the Cowboys, or he wants to explore the market, he will be a true free agent after the 2024 season. There’s been no indication things will get to that point.
In fact, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport the Cowboys are expected to offer him an extension this offseason.
Dak had arguably the best season of his career in 2023. He led the league with 36 touchdown passes and 410 completions, while throwing for 4,516 yards.
The Cowboys finished with a 12-5 record for the third consecutive year, but lost in the NFC Wild Card round for the second time in three seasons. They are the first team in NFL history to win at least 12 games in three straight years without reaching the conference title game at least once.
Prescott went 41-of-60 for 403 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions against the Packers.
