Almost mockingly, the UFC star went off, saying, “Oh yeah, I’m going to – we always have fighter meetings. I’m going to throw it out there – I’m going to say $500K. So, like, we can start going – $400K-$300K… Final offer – a $150K. Come on, this is UFC 300! It’s huge – the two guys that are pushing the fight are asking for it. Why not?”

Fans have seen Dana White make bold moves in the past, but a $300,000 post-fight bonus would be unprecedented. For reference, after UFC 299, White announced $350,000 in bonuses for seven deserving fighters. Dustin Poirier and Benoit Saint Denis received the “Fight of the Night” award, while Sean O’Malley stood out with an impressive performance. Moreover, typically, UFC events award $200,000 in bonuses, with $50,000 going to “Fight of the Night” winners and two “Performance of the Night” awards.

Justin Gathje demands a $300K fight bonus from Dana White for UFC 300

Justin Gaethje is not only aiming to make history by becoming the first man to finish Max Holloway with strikes at UFC 300 but is also looking to walk away with a ludicrous post-fight bonus. In a recent interview, ‘The Highlight’ voiced his high hopes for the event, asserting,

“I had seven or nine bonuses in my first seven fights. I got 12 bonuses in 12 fights… I’m hoping this UFC 300 card brings $300,000 bonuses. I’m always shooting for those things.”
