Petchey got candid on King Roger’s appeal, as he declared, “It’s very important for tennis to keep Roger involved in the game as well, whatever avenues that he decides to take. Whether it’s just purely through the vehicle of Laver Cup, whether it’s other things, you know, Roger, being involved, just puts the optics that much higher.”

The tennis commentator shared his abridged version of Federer and how consistent he remained over the years. In fact, the 20-time Grand Slam champion even impressed America’s most formidable critic for influencing the game.
