Eagles vs. Buccaneers live score, updates, highlights from NFL ‘Monday Night Football’ game

Two of the NFL’s few remaining undefeated teams will meet at Raymond James Stadium as the Eagles visit the Buccaneers on “Monday Night Football.”

After making a run to Super Bowl 57, Philadelphia’s 2-0 start to the season was somewhat expected, while Tampa Bay’s 2-0 start has been a pleasant surprise for those who doubted the franchise after the retirement of Tom Brady and the addition of his replacement, former No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield.

Mayfield has played clean, mistake-free football for the Bucs this season, completing 47 of his 68 pass attempts for three touchdowns with no interceptions. In Tampa’s Week 2 win over Chicago, Mayfield threw for 317 yards, including six completions to Mike Evans, who finished with 171 yards in the game.

Given the high expectations, the Eagles 2-0 start hasn’t been as clean as some may have liked, but quarterback Jalen Hurts made sure to emphasize that “winning is the only thing that truly matters,” as the team looks to improve week to week. Hurts and his Eagles offense are in for a test against a Bucs defense that stuffs the run and has forced five turnovers in two games.
