Fans believe that MMA star Hasbulla Magomedov has potentially teased where he stands on the heated GOAT debate surrounding Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Messi, 35, enjoyed an illustrious playing career at Barcelona and lifted a whopping club-record 35 trophies, including 10 La Liga titles and four Champions Leagues.
And some fans believe Messi can cement his legacy as the undisputed GOAT of football if he leads Argentina to the World Cup in Qatar.
Ronaldo’s incredible accomplishments for club and country have often led fans to pit him against Messi in the long-running GOAT debate.
The 37-year-old Portuguese superstar has won five Ballon d’Ors and an incredible five Champions League titles in his prolific playing career.
It would seem that fans are convinced that Instagram and TikTok sensation Hasbulla prefers Argentina captain Messi over Portugal skipper Ronaldo.
The 20-year-old Russian star took to Twitter and posted a snap of himself in an Argentina shirt, featuring the iconic No 10 worn by Paris Saint-Germain star Messi.
Fans were quick to flock to the social media platform and suggested that Hasbulla, who has been embarking on a world tour, is a ‘Messi fan’ and ‘knows the GOAT.’
One Twitter user posted: “Hasbulla knows his GOAT.”
Another simply posted: “Hasbulla knows who’s the GOAT and [who is] winning the [World Cup].”
“The man has spoken,” a third fan added.
Someone else wrote: “Hasbulla knows it.”
