Final Fantasy 16 Sword Is the First Video Game Weapon Replica to Be Displayed In the Tower of London

Final Fantasy XVI is launching this Thursday and it is already the highest pre-ordered game on Steam. The PlayStation5 exclusive is the latest in a long line of games from the fan-beloved series by developers Square Enix. With some serious hype around the game, fans have something more to flex on: London Tower will be displaying a sword from Final Fantasy 16 in its armories.

The meaning of such an honor to those who have played the game through the decades may be unimaginable. With the hype around the game already so high, this might just be one more reason for fans to buy the game by the thousands.

There is a dedicated and loyal fanbase of the Final Fantasy franchise, who are often adamant that Square Enix is among those devs who always prioritize their fans. With countless memories created over the decades, the studio now looks to give something special to the fans to look forward to. The developers have said that the latest installment of the franchise will display a radical shift from its predecessors.

A revamped gameplay with a gripping storyline would be the focus of Final Fantasy XVI. Players can choose to either focus on the story or go have a fun time with Combat Mode. With a narrative that spans three phases of the protagonist’s life, players will be at the center of a gripping game. Now, it looks like Clive’s tales have mesmerized even Royalty!

Tower of London make a bewildering announcement

Fans went insane after the Tower of London announced that it will display Invictus for a month in its Royal Armouries. The in-game sword from Final Fantasy will be seen wielded by Clive during his adventures. With such a piece of news, long-time fans will definitely have something to gloat over.

In a recent video on YouTube, Final Fantasy revealed the decision being made public by the British Royal Family. The sword, crafted by Tod Todeschini, will be displayed near actual armors that have been used by previous Royal family members. The Tower of London revealed that such a decision comes as a focus on engaging more people and inviting more visitors to the Royal Armouries.

The developers have confirmed a day-one patch after the release of the game on June 22, which will fix crash and motion blur issues. Now it remains to be seen how the Final Fantasy XVI performs after its relics are appreciated even by the Royal Family!
