Gronk has won four Super Bowls.
Patrick Mahomes’ favorite red zone target has made eight Pro Bowls, which is three more than Tom Brady’s best TD option.
Kelce also has a current romantic connection with Taylor Swift.
So who’s the best tight end when Gronkowski and Kelce are compared together?
Don’t ask Gronkowski, who passed several times on the big question — but also promoted himself as being the best in a very Gronk way.
“I believe Travis Kelce is the best receiving tight end,” he said.
Then the future Hall of Famer, who spent 11 seasons playing for New England and Tampa Bay, promoted himself and his tough throwback football ways.
“The way that I played the game, old-school style, it’s an argument, you know? Gronkowski said.

The ex-Pat was 100 per cent right when he said that much of the debate is determined by offensive style and systems.
New England regularly mixed the run with the pass when Gronk played for Bill Belichick.
Kansas City utilizes more of an up-tempo air attack under coach Andy Reid.
Several key numbers favor Kelce.
He’s still active and already has the career edge on Gronkowski in games played, receptions and first downs.
Who is the better tight end all-time, Travis Kelce or Rob Gronkowski?
Gronk humbly calls Kelce the best pass catching TE, then refers to himself as an “old school style” TE.
He says he doesn’t want to make the final decision.

“He’s the best tight end in terms of catching the ball,” Gronkowski said. “There’s no doubt about it. You can’t even argue.”
He added: “When he’s not out on the field, they’re not the same team.”
But Gronk had a 17-TD season in 2011 and has a higher yards-per-catch average.
What’s obvious is that both are great tight ends and it’s a fun debate to have.
Gronk also knows that, in some ways, he was the better one during a more physical era for the NFL.
“I would say in a different aspect,” Gronkowski said.
In the end, he left it to fans to decide.
