Harry Kane has finally completed his move from Tottenham to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich following a long running summer transfer saga.
The England captain was targeted by the reigning German champions at the start of the summer amid rumours he wanted to leave Spurs for a new career challenge.
Despite the last minute attempts of chairman Daniel Levy to keep Kane at the Premier League side, the 30-year-old accepted Bayern’s offer, and will now begin a new chapter in Bavaria.
The move means Kane leaves the Premier League with 213 top-flight goals, 47 short of Alan Shearer’s all-time record, a title he will not claim unless he opts to return to England in future.

Harry Kane to Bayern Munich transfer
Kane has been one of the most prolific strikers in Premier League history during his nine seasons in the Tottenham first team.
But, despite his own impressive performances, Tottenham have failed to win a major trophy with him in the team, with three finals lost and no Premier League titles.
Bayern offers a strong opportunity for Kane to compete at the highest level and win titles in the coming years as they remain clear favourites to retain their Bundesliga title and challenge for the Champions League.
A Tottenham team in transition cannot offer Kane the guarantees for trophy chasing that Bayern can and that is the key motivator behind his decision to leave.
Harry Kane transfer fee, salary and contract
After over a month of negotiations, as Spurs looked to secure the maximum fee for their departing star, Bayern finally agreed a £86.4m/$110m fee to sign Kane, as per The Athletic’s David Ornstein and BBC Sport.
Full details on his contract in Munich are yet to be confirmed but Ornstein reports Kane will receive a four-year deal through June 2027.
He is also set to receive a salary increase from his Spurs contract which was worth around £10.4m/$13.2m per year.
According to The Sun his new Bayern contract could be worth as much as £21.6m/$13.2m a year which equates to £415,000/$527,000 a week.
