Ding Junhui was “livid” after making an error during his English Open quarter-final defeat to Hongyu Liu. The Chinese player lost to his 19-year-old compatriot to be denied a semi-final spot, and his frustration showed in two separate moments. Ding banged his cue off the ground in annoyance, before later slapping the table when another shot went wrong.
