Before The Basketball Tournament crowns a champion this year, a few explosive athletes will take the floor for the 2023 Puma Posterize Dunk Contest.
The TBT event puts a little bit of a twist on the typical dunk contest. Instead of having participants attempt to earn the highest possible score from a panel of judges, the Puma Posterize Dunk Contest has them face off and try to dunk on each other.

When is the Puma Posterize Dunk Contest?
Date: Wednesday, Aug. 2
Time: 6 p.m. ET
The Puma Posterize Dunk Contest will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 2. It will begin at 6 p.m. ET.
The semifinal games of The Basketball Tournament will then be played that same night at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. ET.
How to watch the Puma Posterize Dunk Contest
Live stream: ESPN+ | Sling TV
The Puma Posterize Dunk Contest will be available to watch on ESPN+. Basketball fans can also stream the dunk contest via Sling TV.

Puma Posterize Dunk Contest format
The Puma Posterize Dunk Contest will feature eight contestants. They will look to throw down ferocious dunks over each other and advance to the next round in the bracket-style competition.
The last dunker standing will receive a $20,000 prize.
