Most recently, they shared an adorable moment during the All-Star game as Seattle Mariners fans tried to recruit Shohei Ohtani who was up to bat. Freeman and Betts exchanged some nice words with each other over an earpiece during the game. They said hi to each other, using nicknames before Freeman said he liked Betts in the outfield. Baseball infielder Mike Daddino shared a video of the incident on Twitter.

In the video, Betts says “Hi Fredder”, to which Freeman replies, “Hi Mook”. Following this, the star infielder said, “I like you in the outfield”, to which Betts replied, “I know you do”. This was a truly special moment as the Seattle crowd was focused on yelling, “Come to Seattle” at Ohtani.
