Is there a ‘Monday Night Football’ game tonight?
There is no “Monday Night Football” game on Monday, Jan. 22. The last Monday night game of the regular season was played during Week 16 on Christmas Day. The schedule for that day included three games on Monday, with the Ravens-49ers wrapping up the action.
With the annual slate of college football bowl games on New Year’s Day, the NFL typically does not schedule games to take place on the same day as the most prestigious games across the NCAA, which is why there wasn’t an MNF game in Week 17.
During the postseason, there was just one Monday game. That was held during the wild-card round that took place on Monday, Jan. 15.
