YouTuber turned professional prizefighter Jake Paul is in a transitional period right now.
The embryonic stages of The Problem Child’s fighting career were padded out with money-spinning clashes against fellow YouTubers, MMA fighters, and athletes from other sports. However, for the second time in a row, Paul will be going against an authentic professional.
Ryan Bourland, 35, entered the paid ranks in 2013 and has compiled a 17-2 record. The only downside for the California-born fighter is inactivity, with him having had just one fight over the past four and a half years.
The Paul vs. Bourland bout takes place on March 2 at the Coliseo Jose Miguel Agrelot in Puerto Rico. It will feature as the main undercard attraction beneath Amanda Serrano’s featherweight world title defense against Nina Meinke.

According to Forbes, Paul was ranked second in 2021 when it came to the highest-paid YouTube stars in the world, hitting the $45 million mark. In 2018, he made $21.5 million, which also placed him second.
