Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz face-off descends into chaotic brawl between securities of fighters
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Chaos broke out at Jake Paul and Nate Diaz’s press conference with security from both sides brawling one another.

The two will meet on Saturday night at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, in what will be Paul’s first fight since losing to Tommy Fury in February.

But where ‘The Problem Child’ goes, carnage seems to follow, though this time he was not strictly involved.

At a press conference on Thursday at The Factory in Dallas, both fighters took part in a stare down to conclude proceedings.

However, that was just the start as Diaz turned to Paul’s adviser Nakisa Bidarian to exchange words.

MMA Fighting reports that Diaz shouted: “You know who the bully is? That bouncer right there who I smacked with a beer the last time he thought he was tight. I f****** smacked that b**** in the face.

“That’s who the bully is. F*** him, f*** you, and f*** MVP.”

“Let’s go. I like it,” Paul responded. “Nate’s alive. We woke the beast up. Let’s go Nate. I like it. Talk your s, Nate. Talk your s***.”

As the fighters went their separate ways, the two sets of security jostled with one another towards the exit.

It resulted in more pushing and shoving until one member of security appeared to try throw a punch.

That was when the scene turned violent as several security guards can be seen grappling with one another with at least one hitting the floor.

Diaz was escorted away while Paul cannot be seen as other officials on stage tried to calm down proceedings.

Eventually, both sides cooled their jets and made their way off stage and back to their respective camps.

When asked about the altercation, Diaz said: “It don’t matter. Whatever happens, happens. It usually can go better or worse. It’s all good.”

As Diaz referenced, one of the security guards at the centre of the mayhem appeared to be involved in another incident.

As part of Diaz’s crew, an altercation occurred backstage at the Paul vs. Anderson Silva event in October.

On that occasion, a man that looks very similar threw some sort of liquid over a group of other men that sparked a brawl.

Paul vs Diaz will get underway on Saturday night and you can listen to the fight for free live on talkSPORT. Alex Steedman and Spencer Oliver will provide commentary on the bout.
